My name is Michael Hecht and I recently retired after a 38-year career with a large medical company. My background is in engineering and I have been building and fixing stuff since I was a young kid. During my career, I was involved in planning, designing, and building my 3 homes, did 6 renovations, and maintained my personal home for over 30 years. I also co-owned and managed 9 apartments in Richmond’s Fan District. I have spent my entire career helping customers improve efficiencies and enhance their lives. I take that same approach on my personal home, which is why I started Handyman Mike, LLC. My mission is to help you improve the way your home looks and hopefully allowing you to be more efficient in your day-to-day life. I have my Class C contractors license focusing on Home Improvement Construction. This will allow me to do most jobs that I am qualified for and feel comfortable doing. My philosophy has always been transparent with people. You earn credibility by delivering on your word.
